CHANGES FOR THE SWA TOUR
Effective May 1, 2010

In order to attract more players to the SWA Tour;
Basic one-day entry fee: $45 (includes course/administration costs and no prize funding)[$40 from May 1st until September 30th]
Non-member fee: $25 (not contributory toward annual membership dues)[$20 from May 1st until September 30th]
OPTIONAL Cash Scratch Competition: $25 (conducted by the players for the players with volunteer administrative assistance)
Amateurs may receive cash for this optional competiton, consistent with the USGA Rules Of Amateur Status
Cash Scratch Competition prize awards will be made in cash as follows:
1st 50%, 2nd 30% and 3rd 20% (for 4 players or more)
SWA eligibility will be expanded to include: "Club Professionals"[NOTE 4]
Internet record and posting of results will include only scores for "Basic" event.
NOTES:
1) "Club Professionals" shall be loosely defined as players who are known to be
full time contributors serving the game of golf or and not possessing the opportunity
to fully sharpen their golf skills to be competitive in the "Open Division".
The SWA Tour, ie. Moonlight Golf Association, Inc., reserves the right to determine the status
of any player claiming eligibility for the SWA Tour events under this classification.
2) For player Age 60 or higher, the defined tee set will be determined to assure that
all par 3s play under 200yds, par4s play under 400 yds and par 5s play under 500 yds in length.
3) For the "Cash Scratch Competition" or any player driven competition aside from the tour event, which involves wagering,
players under the age of 18 will be required to have parental/guardian approval.
4) "CLUB PROFESSIONALS" may rate a discounted Entry Fee based on the level of professional courtesy offered by the event's host club.
